Every society can be directly measured and evaluated according to its esteem of children. Jesus said, "Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them." (Mark 10:14-16)

From the beginning, God commanded, "Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth" (Gen. 9:1). This was not simply for Noah and his three children alone, as they could not replenish the earth by themselves. It is a command that was given to Noah’s posterity, and it has never been rescinded but is still in force today.

Children are the most easily taught than any group of people on earth. One has written, "The twig is bent, the tree inclined, and so the heart and soul and mind." It is much easier to bend a twig than a large oak. Children are easily molded, shaped and directed. Since they have the characteristic of "being tossed to and fro." they are to be stablished and settled soon, early and continually. They are the most loyal and supportive of any group on earth, humanly speaking. They learn very quickly and even pick up other languages quicker than older people do.

Children bring joy. They educate the parents by asking hard questions. Children reveal the strengths and weaknesses of their parents. Children are the future of the world, and will one day be the ones in charge, in positions of importance and places of authority.

A man with a house of children has a castle of soldiers, scholars, servants, and whatever else he makes of them. A man with children has an insurance policy unmatched by the greatest and richest men of the world who have vultures waiting to get their remains. A man with children has a future, a cause and a purpose. A man with children has hope and ambition and zeal. It would seem that all godly people would have children to propagate their own faith, and a godly seed in the earth. It would seem that Bible-believers would have children to prove their religion and their God has true. It would seem that all evangelistic, missions-minded, soul-winners would jump at the opportunity to propagate their faith. It would seem that everyone should want to have children—and lots of them—but such is strangely not the case, no, not even with Fundamentalist "soul-winners."

In fact, the world and the church are quite the same in number and purpose for having children. They both use the same excuses for not having children, such as affordability, unpreparedness and other obligations. You would think that the world and the church had the same philosophy and view of children.

Is there anyone really wealthy enough to have children? You would think that most American people were on poverty row, and that the richest of people had the most children. The fact of the matter is that the love of money is still the root of all evil.

Most professing Christians today would rather have material things than children. They would rather have luxuries and amenities than bothersome children. They express the same grief at finding out they are about to be parents as the world does. They even practice the same ways of getting rid of unwanted children, buy the same "birth control" methods from the same worldly facilities, which pills literally kill a developing child and are mostly, if not all, abortion pills. Nowhere in the Bible is birth control held in a good light, but the Bible does say some men have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake (Mat. 19:12) - a verse not likely to have been recommended reading in many Fundamentalist "singles" classes.

It all stems back to the devil who told Eve she and Adam would be as gods knowing good and evil. Family planning is a direct attack against the sovereignty of God. It is God who gives children, and it is God who keeps away children. One cannot have more children than God gives. One of the main purposes God designed marriage was "That he might seek a godly seed" (Malachi 2:15)(another verse not taught in singles or marriage counseling classes.) When men and women play God, they must reap the consequences, and they often do so in the later years of their lives when there are no children to take care of them or make them happy.

They also reap the consequences in the types of diseases they get when older. It is indeed a shame when professing Christians get pagan diseases, because they learned the ways of the heathen. "Wherefore cone out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty" (II Cor. 6:17-18).

God said, "Choose life" but most Christians today defiantly stop God’s natural processes to bring life, and try to halt that life from coming. We are certainly living in a day of death and little esteem for human souls and life. Shall the preacher who didn’t want children be responsible for the souls of yours?

Birth control is as much "pro-choice" as any abortion ever was and is as much opposed to "pro-life" as any abortion is. The family planners have the exact same attitude as the abortionists who are also under the same category – It’s my body to do what I want with it. But God will not be their fool.

If birth control is a good thing, then that means those who do not practice birth control when important to do so must be guilty of sin. People who advocate birth control today are as murderous as any tribal cults that sacrificed their children to the crocodiles, molten statues or volcanoes. To say that birth control is good and right, is to conclude there are many families today with children who shouldn’t have been born –aye, a murderous philosophy, and any fundamentalists who hold to it deserve to go straight to hell, without slowing down.

One of the judgments God said He would bring upon people was to "bereave them of children." (Jer. 15:7). And one rare phrase libel to being skipped over in the genealogies is- "And Jether died without children." (I Chron. 2:32) It was such an odd thing that it was recorded in Biblical genealogies all through history.

One should wonder how little most professing Christians today have even read their Bibles -- where God’s people were always thrilled at having children! When Jacob was asked of Esau whom all the women and children were, most fundamentalists today would have commented on the women, but Jacob spoke of his children -- "the children which God hath graciously given thy servant" (Gen. 33:5). People today want to keep God out the picture, until they call for him.

Children were always looked upon by God’s people in the Bible as a blessing, and even unbelievers thought the same. When a woman’s womb was closed up, it was considered a curse, but consider how many Fundamentalists today would consider it a blessing! No need to trust in pills! The Bible says of Hannah, "the LORD had shut up her womb. And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb" (I Sam. 1:5). The thing caused her to be "in bitterness of soul" and she "wept sore" (vs. 10). When she finally had her son, the Bible says it was because "the LORD remembered her" (vs. 19). But most people today want to leave the LORD out of it, until they call for him.

It is no wonder Hannah prayed such a prayer, "The LORD killeth and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up. The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up. He raiseth the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory...for by strength shall no man prevail" (I Sam. 2:6-9). That passage all by itself shows the weakness of family planning which makes man the master of his own fate, the captain of his own soul. Do you worship the same God, oh poor Christian, who has bought the devil’s lie that you can’t afford to have children? Let me tell you about my God.

When Abraham -- taking matters into his own hands as if he were God -- lied to Abimelech about Sarah, God judged all the people of Abimelech by closing up their wombs. When Abraham finally got right, he prayed, "and God healed Abimelech, his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare children" (Gen. 20:17). Notice that the bearing of children was sign of healing -- health.

The medical industry today knows as much about health as the witch doctors of the jungle. It’s no wonder they want to say everyone is sick and needs the care of a doctor. The medical industry all throughout history has been in the hands of the reigning religion. It’s sad when professing Christians today trust their doctor more than they believe their Bible. It only reveals a great deal about them. We know the secrets of health and long life of which the medical profession today is completely in the dark, because they have rejected true knowledge, wisdom and understanding. It is important to note that the same people are teaching "over-population" and forcing people not to have children. Will you comply with your doctor or the Bible? The wisdom of man, or the wisdom of God? Most people have chosen to worship at the altar of the medical industry, and they must pay the price -- a great sacrifice indeed!

The parents of Moses rejected the law of the land for a higher law—-the law of life. And they had a child who became the greatest man in the Old Testament. He who gave the Law of God was born contrary to the law of man!

Most professing Christians today frankly hate children. Some actually go to the doctor to get fixed just like their animals. They look upon the few kids they have as "accidents." They separate them from under the Pastor’s care to a children’s facility -- completely contrary to Scripture and the pattern outlined for the church.

God’s will for younger women is that they "marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully" (I Tim. 5:14). That is God’s will, but it not taught by most churches today. That is why most churches are filled with such a reproachful "singles ministry." Young women are most often encouraged to follow Hollywood’s pattern of romance and love -- which always involves "singles" engaged in romance, flirting, dating and "fun" before marriage. One would think that marriage should be avoided! Hollywood never has held up an ideal woman to be married, a keeper at home, and a bearer of children. Younger women who finally do get married are admonished by bad counselors to "spend more time with their husbands" and therefore put off bearing children – directly opposed to the express and wise command of God. It is no wonder that so many "are already turned aside after Satan" (vs. 15). Have you ever heard of any counselors who recommended that women turn off their televisions so they could bear children and guide the house according to the Bible and not after Hollywood?

The Pastor is assumed to have children in I Tim. 3:4-5. More time and space is given in detailing his proper care of them, than any other qualification for the ministry. It is no wonder that most preachers are disqualified the most by this one qualification. Certainly, if a man can’t convince his own children who walk with him, grow up with him, spend more time with him than anyone else, who observe all his conversation and "godly" way of life -- if he can’t convince them to follow his religion which he claims is the power of God, then whom can he convince? If he is a loser in his own house, then where pray tell, will he be a winner? Shall he convince the wayward children of others?

The virtuous woman in Proverbs 31 is a woman who has children. Even after all the work she endures, she has found time to have children who rise up and call her blessed. Obviously they didn’t grow up in some dirty nursery getting raised by un-wed mothers.

The blessed man in Psalm 127 has his quiver full -- an argument for more children, not less children -- An argument for more and more and more, not as few as possible. Obviously most Fundamentalists today are not blessed, and the few children they do have, testify against their spiritual capabilities and callings, for they can’t give an answer of their own faith, much more speak with the enemy in the gate. I challenge all of established Fundamentalism today and hold up their children as living proof of their weak, lifeless and powerless form of religion.

The blessing upon Asshur was "Let Asshur be blessed with children" (Deut. 33:24). Notice that the children were the blessing.

Most people today consider children to be a curse. They condemn themselves.

Eve’s first reaction to the birth of Cain was not -- "Oh no!" It was joy and gladness -- "I have gotten a man from the Lord" (Gen. 4:1). She had hoped he would be the redeemer, as women throughout history hoped until Mary who was blessed above women. Indeed, almost every great man and woman in history had parents who greatly influenced them to be so -- by faith.

God said of Abraham, "For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment" (Gen. 18:19). To know Abraham was to know that he was going to have good and obedient children. The reason the children were expected to walk obediently was because of the kind of man Abraham was. Do Christians today have such a reputation that it can be said ahead of time that their children will walk in the ways of the Lord? It can be said ahead of time that for most professing Christians they will have rebels and most already plan on it.

They reveal themselves.

Joshua said, "as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

Notice that he didn’t give his house a choice. He was the head which controlled the members. He persuaded them, nurtured them, and did not provoke them to wrath. "Come, ye children, hearken unto me: and I will teach you the fear of the LORD" (Psalm 34:11). Most heads today had might as well be cut off for all the good they do. Who was Joshua to make up the minds of his children? He was certainly a better man than most Christians today. Oh, that God would give us more Joshuas to make their houses do right, follow the Lord, and be examples to condemn this impotent church of today.

Based on the attitudes of most professing Christians today, it is as uncertain for their children to be good and do right as it is for the children of any other person in the world. What a horrible way to treat God’s Word and promises and esteem them to have no effect. The Bible promises, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (Prov. 22:6). Most people would have God to be the liar and themselves to be guiltless. But as for me, I’ll agree with the wisest man outside of Christ who ever lived, Solomon, and the greatest man in the New Testament, Paul, "Yea, let God be true, but every man a liar."

By their fruit you shall know them. It is no wonder so many today try to stop the fruit from coming. They don’t want their children to reveal them. Most Buddhist children become Buddhists. Most Hindu children become Hindus. Most Amish children become Amish, and most Fundamentalist children become rebel hypocrites. It’s no wonder so many Christians try to physically limit their off-spring.

Perhaps some have recognized how far they have fallen. What can be done now? "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon" (Isaiah 55:7). "Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him..." (Joel 2:14)? It is the wonderful grace and mercy of God when children are saved who were not reared, as they should have been. But it is haughty pride and foolishness when men expect God to give them a better yield than they have sown. Be not deceived [for many are]; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" (Galatians 6:7).

Did you also know that if all aborted babies go to heaven, then abortion has been the greatest, most successful soul-winning endeavor in all of history, and that abortion doctors have won more to the Lord than most preachers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Perhaps that is why most Fundamentalists don’t really speak out about the wickedness of abortion? Many of them teach that the child’s life is inferior to the mother’s and that the child should be murdered if the mother’s life is in danger. They play God, and God will not hold them guiltless.

What A. W. Tozer saw in his day --

"If I see aright, the cross of popular evangelicalism is not the cross of the New Testament. It is, rather, a new bright ornament upon the bosom of self-assured and carnal Christianity. The old cross slew men: the new cross entertains them. The old cross condemned; the new cross amuses. The old cross destroyed confidence in the flesh; the new cross encourages it."

We shall, on the supposition of an ever-developing theology, owe a great deal to the wisdom of men. God may provide the marble; but it is man who will carve the statue. It will no longer be true that God has hidden these things from the wise and prudent, and revealed them unto babes; but the babes will be lost in hopeless bewilderment, and carnal wisdom will have fine times for glorying. Scientific men will be the true prophets of our Israel, even though they deny Israel’s God; and instead of the Holy Spirit guiding the humble in heart, we shall see the enthronement of "the spirit of the age," whatever that may mean. "The world by wisdom knew not God," so says the apostle of the ages past; but the contrary is to be our experience nowadays.

New editions of the gospel are to be excogitated by the wisdom of men, and we are to follow in the wake of "thoughtful preachers," whose thoughts are not as God’s thoughts. Verily this is the deification of man! Nor do the moderns shrink even from this. To many of our readers it may already be known that it is beginning to be taught that God himself is but the totality of manhood, and that our Lord Jesus only differed from us in being one of the first men to find out that he was God: he was but one item of that race, which, in its solidarity, is divine.

It is thought to be mere bigotry to protest against the mad spirit which is now loose among us. Pan-indifferentism is rising like the tide; who can hinder it? We are all to be as one, even though we agree in next to nothing. It is a breach of brotherly love to denounce error. Hail, holy charity! Black is white; and white is black. The false is true; the true is false; the true and the false are one. Let us join hands, and never again mention those barbarous, old-fashioned doctrines about which we are sure to differ. Let the good and sound men for liberty’s sake shield their "advanced brethren"; or, at least, gently blame them in a tone which means approval. After all, there is no difference, except in the point of view from which we look at things: it is all in the eye, or, as the vulgar say, "it is all my eye"! In order to maintain an open union, let us fight as for dear life against any form of sound words, since it might restrain our liberty to deny the doctrines of the Word of God!

But what if earnest protests accomplish nothing, because of the invincible resolve of the infatuated to abide in fellowship with the inventors of false doctrine? Well, we shall at least have done our duty. We are not responsible for success. If the plague cannot be stayed, we can at least die in the attempt to remove it.

Every voice that is lifted up against Anythingarianism is at least a little hindrance to its universal prevalence. It may be that in some one instance a true witness is strengthened by our word, or a waverer is kept from falling; and this is no mean reward. It is true that our testimony may be held up to contempt; and may, indeed, in itself be feeble enough to be open to ridicule: but yet the Lord, by the weak things of the world, has overcome the mighty in former times, and he will do so again. We cannot despair for the church or for the truth, while the Lord lives and reigns; but, assuredly, the conflict to which the faithful are now summoned is not less arduous than that in which the Reformers were engaged. So much of subtlety is mixed up with the whole business, that the sword seems to fall upon a sack of wool, or to miss its mark. However, plain truth will cut its way in the end, and policy will ring its own death-knell.

Murdoch - whose family’s $30-billion corporate empire includes Fox Television, the Dodgers, the New York Post and Star TV, Asia’s largest satellite network - also said Hong Kong democracy advocates should accept the reality of life under a strong-willed ‘absolutist’ government.... Murdoch did warn his Los Angeles audience that investing in China required a ‘strong stomach.’..." (March 23,2001, Times Staff writer)

What corporation is this that is turning a blind eye to the suffering and torture of Christians (and New Age cults like Falon Gong)? Who are these Murdocks? Answer: They are the owners and publishers of the N.I.V. and other new bible versions. The Murdocks also make more money from PORNOGRAPHY than Hugh Hefner or Larry Flynt (may the Christian reader forgive the necessary mention of such vile names, and pray for their lost souls).

In these perilous, last days, pornography has evolved into a $10 billion per year industry! This is not surprising. Once we even begin to frown upon the landmarks and barriers set by former generations, we are sliding down a slippery slope: "The old ways are not good enough for our generation. The old paths are too narrow (Jer. 6:16, Heb 12:13). The Old Version is too restrictive. We want to wear what we please and view whatever we desire." But once a knot is finally untied, the whole quickly unravels. Pornography never satisfies:

Those who view pornography become enslaved by it. They must become increasingly depraved as they demand things more perverse than before (Rom. 1:26, Prov. 1:19). Pornography breeds sodomy. And then sodomy breeds child molestation and other vile deeds. Therefore, a society given over to pornography under the guise of "free speech", is a society that is exploding (or about to explode) in rapists, murderers, cannibals, adulterers, molesters, abusers, etc. The Word of God (and the experience of history) teaches that a nation or kingdom given over to such depravity will quickly self-destruct. The Bible predicts just such a state for the entire world in the coming Tribulation period:

Mild pornography is now on prime-time TV, and it can be found in many worldly movies Viewed by thousands of Christians every Lord’s Day. Yet, as already stated, pornography in its most hard-core, blatant form has also become BIG business. Giant corporations such as AT&T, Time Warner, General Motors, News Corp. etc. all have a big financial stake in lewd, pornographic films:

"AT&T Corp., the nation’s biggest communications company, offers a hard-core sex channel called the Hot Network to subscribers to its broadband cable service. It also owns a company that sells sex videos to nearly a million hotel rooms." (N.Y. Times News Service, T. Egan, Oct. 22, 2000)

DirecTV is the No. 1 satellite provider of pornography. Rupert Murdock (the owner of the N.I.V.) has been trying hard to purchase it. The 8.7 million Americans who subscribe to DirecTV (a General Motors subsidiary) buy nearly $200 million a year in hard-core porno films from satellite! But not far behind GM is EchoStar Communications Corporation. THIS COMPANY IS THE NO.2 SATELLITE PROVIDER OF PORNO FILMS. It is backed by Rupert Murdock (the owner of the rights to the N.I.V.)! This company makes more money selling pornographic films than Playboy does with its magazine, cable and Internet businesses COMBINED! This same Rupert Murdock (i.e. News Corp.) owns HarperCollins Publishing (with Zondervan), the New York Post, FOX Television, TV Guide, Seventeen Magazine and many other newspapers around the world. It is therefore a fact that when Christians support these companies with their time and money, they are helping to support the pornographic industry. Is it right to speak against sin in its worst forms while at the same time we finance it? We are not talking about a controversial sin. We are talking about the worst kind of "adult" sex films! Should we support these things with our money when we have a choice in the matter?

Rupert Murdock (i.e. Harper-Collins) also owns and publishes the Good News Bible, The Amplified Version, some Christian hymnals, and, as already stated, the NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION! Therefore, this same corporation is making money off of many gullible Christians while it invests in sex films, pornography, lewd TV, pro homosexual books, etc. How can this be? Simple. The motive is MONEY:

And most Christians know we are supposed to be courteous, loving, meek and humble. There is therefore no holy outrage among the saints. Yet, the Bible NEVER says we are to be stupid, gullible or simple! In fact, it clearly warns against these things:

Eph 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather REPROVE them. 13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

If we believe in a literal Devil who is transformed into an angel of light (along with his ministers), do we really think he will not attempt to corrupt the Word of God? My second question is, in what manner will he attempt to corrupt it? Will he launch an open attack or a SUBTIL attack? Did ye never read in the scriptures (Mt. 21:42, Gen. 3:l, 2Cor. 11:3)?

When you purchase or endorse an N.I.V. you are supporting a corporation that makes more money off of pornography than any of the infamous magazines such as Playboy, Hustler, etc. Larry Flynt (the owner of a popular, hard-core, porno magazine) states:

"We’re in the small leagues compared to some of those companies..."(N.Y. Times News Service, T. Egan, Oct.22, 2000)

Should these new bible publishers (owned by men making millions off of pornography) be trusted to provide you with the unadulterated Word of God? They live for money. Why is it that they are not afraid to promote the N.I.V.? Could it be that they know that these versions are so watered-down that they will not hurt their blossoming pornography business?

A tabloid-porno king owns the rights to some of the most popular new bible versions (i.e. NIV, Good News, Amplified). If you will use and endorse these versions, then do NOT ever complain about the spread of pornography; and whatever you do, do NOT ever say Christians should boycott some company for endorsing ANY sin, product or viewpoint!

"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven...a time to laugh" (Ecclesiastes 3:1-4).

Laughter characterizes only rational, reasonable, intelligent creatures -- animals don’t laugh; plants don’t laugh. Laughter itself evidences status, authority and superiority. The reason one laughs is because he is letting it be known something is foolish, silly, unreasonable, or absurd. To know such a thing requires greater wisdom than that which is the object of laughter. It is always the brighter person who laughs at the dumber. It is stringer who laughs at the weaker. Laughter itself is an expression of superiority and greatness. The fearful person who seeks to hide his fear will often laugh to make it look as if he is not afraid.

Laughter is belittling. It is hard to be laughed at—unless one has greater knowledge to know that he is really right and the ones laughing are deceived. Consider the worldly lottery winner -- He will act like a fool and doesn’t care who laughs, he’ll laugh harder at them -- he doesn’t care; he’s won. People reveal much about themselves by what makes them laugh and what makes them weep.

The World knows how to laugh. They live for laughter and merriments, amusements and entertainments. This is indeed their time to laugh. Their motto is "Let us eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we die." They care not about tomorrow, only for today. "They live for the moment, and will do what it takes to have instant, immediate feelings of joy, happiness and satisfaction. But when they are at their best,

"Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness" (Prov. 14:13).

The World as sinful, proud and puffed up as the devil, laughs at everything they consider ridiculous. Indeed, in this world and time, "the just upright man is laughed to scorn" (Job 12:4). So Paul said, "we are fools for Christ’s sake" (I Cor. 4:10). We make the world to laugh because they consider us so dumb, stupid, poor, weak and base. The psalmist said, "Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbors: and our enemies laugh among themselves" (80:6). We entertain the world, and the

World gazes in amusement how thoroughly we can do the job.

"All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him, let him deliver him, seeing he delighteth in him." (Psalm 22:7-8).

But the joke will one day be found to be on them. In pride and mockery, they will be found to be the greatest entertainers of all time, having chosen to foolishly laugh at and belittle the greatest Man who ever lived, the greatest God above all gods, the richest and most powerful Sovereign of all time and eternity, the invincible army of God greater than any ever built by men. They shall awake in fear and terror when they realize their laughter was the vain, empty, worthless, clamor of fools, "For as the crackling of thorns under a pot, so is the laughter of the fool: this also is vanity" (Ecclesiastes 7:6). Then, they won’t be laughing any more. Fools only have a short time to laugh.

"But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for you shall mourn and weep. Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! For so did their fathers to the false prophets." (Luke 6:24-26).

There is a future time when all God’s saints shall laugh for joy with all understanding and knowledge and wisdom. All God’s saints shall laugh, not just with the mouth, but with the heart and soul not vain and empty and foolish laughter, but levelheaded, sober and genuine joy and happiness. These are they who were once laughed at, who wept and mourned for a short time. They are blessed, for they wept for a short time, to laugh for eternity. And they shall do so for as long as God lives.

God has also provided occasions in time for the saint of God to laugh as well. Every time God’s children see the work of God blessed, they laugh. Every time they are treated as evil, they are to laugh, rejoice and dance –leap for joy. Every time God’s children see the judgments of God executed against the wicked, they laugh laughter of joy, thanksgiving, triumph, confidence and victory. When Goliath lost his head, the only people who wept were the bad guys who had been laughing vainly. When Egypt was destroyed in the Red Sea, the children of Israel shouted, laughed, rejoiced, and celebrated – not because they enjoyed seeing death, but because they enjoyed seeing the righteousness of God vindicated and wicked men punished. When God destroyed the Spanish Armada on its way to England to force the country to become Roman Catholic, England laughed at the hand of God against His enemies. The only people who wept were the bad guys.

David said about the evil man who loved mischief, deceit and lies, that God would destroy him, take him away and pluck him up. "The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him: Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength, but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness. But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever. I will praise thee forever, because thou hast done it; and I will wait on thy name: for it is good before thy saints" (Psalm 52:6-9).

"When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing; then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them. The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him." (Psalm 126).

"Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh. Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets." (Luke 6:20-23).

It ain’t over till the fat lady sings—and she shall—the Bride of Christ shall sing all through eternity, while all the emaciated fools are crackling in hell’s eternal furnace.

It should be quite evident that God shall have the last laugh. Men live as if might makes right, but they foolishly forget the one mightier than them all-—God. When the kings of the earth, great men, rulers band together in a united front against God and his people, it makes God laugh. Who do they think they are? He has their breath in his hands. "There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD" (Prov. 21:30). People who act as if they were smarter, wiser and stronger than God are funny, and they shall find out how wrong they were.

"The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. The LORD shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming"(Psalm 37: 12-13). Notice, God is not on his hands and knees begging the wicked to allow him to help him – that’s another god -- a funny one too!

God laughs when he sees foolish sinners rise up against his saints; when they craftily lie in wait for blood; when they boast themselves and belch out their mouths and bark like dogs as if they were something – David says "But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision" (59:8).

God laughs when he illustrates wisdom all over creation, and men turn, refuse and reject his Word. "I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel; they despised all my reproof." (Prov. 1:26-30).

The way people are so confused today, you’d think that Christianity was a weak and feeble religion, God was a weak and feeble God, and Heaven will be spent in one gloomy and sorrowful regret and apology for all the poor lost souls in hell against God’s wishes. People don’t really know the God of the Bible. He laughs too. You had better be careful and sure that HE won’t on day laugh at you. May it not be said of you that you were such a fool that you made God laugh! Such is a horrid thought indeed! May it never be said of you that you were such a hypocrite that heaven roared when they observed your life – such will be a cause to weep indeed all throughout eternity!

However, Prof. Serge Renaud of the University Victor Segalen, said that this affect was absent in red wine, probably because it contained polyphenols, substances that had been shown to have remarkable biological properties, responsible for the colour of grapes and found in their skins and seeds..." Comments: Those struggling so hard to find a justification for DRINKING will not give up. Even most o the conservative news sites appear to JUMP ON every report that seems to slightly justify DRINKING. This is no doubt because there are probably many Christians working for these organizations and they are CONVICTED. Here are the facts: If you drink pure red GRAPE JUICE moderately you will then get ALL the healthy benefits of fermented wine WITHOUT the UNHEALTHY physical and spiritual consequences! Alcohol is a poison that hurts the precious organs of the body while it makes the precious mind dull and STUPID (Hos. 4:11). The Bible says wine-drinkers have a tendency to take their clothes off (Gen. 9:21, 19:32, Hab. 2:15). Godly Jews knew that only daughters of Belial DRINK fermented wine:

I Sam 1:15 And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have DRUNK neither wine nor string drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD. 16 Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial:

Certainly some of these Christians defending wine drinking have seen (hopefully BEFORE their conversion) worldly girls made giddy and tipsy on only A FEW SIPS of fermented wine! If they will preach "moderation" why then don’t they also WARN most young women that "Moderation" will certainly make them DRUNK? Yet, we hear no such warnings. Plus, who defines DRUNK? Moderate drinkers all have their own ideas about it. And the same amount of alcohol can effect different people in different ways. Are you supposed to experiment and risk getting a little drunk to find out how much you can "handle"? Also, how much you can "handle" will often depend on whether or not you have eaten, whether or not you are tired, etc. It is all VERY subjective. Therefore, many "moderate" wine drinkers often get up from a meal with a HEAD RUSH. They do all this, even though the Bible teaches that the KINGDOM OF GOD will be missed for DRUNKENNESS (I Cor. 6:10). The Bible uses the word "wine" in a dual sense. It often means simply unfermented grape juice:

If Jesus made fermented wine, where was the "moderation"? The Bible says He made it after they were WELL DRUNK! (John 2:10) God’s wise, obedient servants are not even to LOOK at fermented wine:

Fermented wine is dangerous in itself. It is also a picture of sin

(Eph. 5:18, Jer. 51:7, etc.). Messing with a "little" sin almost always leads to BIG sin (Rom. 13:14, Gal. 5:8).

The ancient Jews certainly knew how to preserve juice from fermenting. This has been documented multiple times in this newsletter. One way was to boil it down to a thick syrup and then add water as needed. If you want to be healthy, drink some pure grape juice every so often. If you want to gamble with sin and be a stumbling block for others, drink a little fermented wine.

Every Jew who rejects the Lord Jesus Christ as God’s perfect and all-sufficient sacrifice, altar, and priest, far from having some mystical blessing because of his blood line, is going to bust hell wide open. And everyone who gives a special status to Christ-denying Jews has revealed his contempt for Christ, the King of the Jews. Apart from Christ, there is no blessing but only curses, destruction and death. However, when the Jews repent and believe in Christ, then they will be blessed, and then, all who bless them will be blessed. Presently, the Jews are not a blessed, but a cursed people. When people imagine that God will magically bless them for speaking well of cursed Jews who blaspheme His only begotten Son, they shew themselves to be greatly deluded, Biblically ignorant and very silly.
